This exclusive program will take you to some of our favourite communities in Greenland, and introduce you to their unique way of life. Explore the shoreline of the Disko Bay, and marvel at the dramatic calving icebergs; above all, come on up and let Greenland delight you!
Day 1: Depart from Copenhagen on the direct flight with Air Greenland to Kangerlussuaq, Greenland. Connect here to Sisimuit for a two-night stay.
Day 2: Start this morning with a guided cultural tour to Tele Island where Inuit cultures have settled for the past 4,000 years. In the afternoon, enjoy a Kaffemilk with a Greenlandic family and learn about their way of life.
Day 3: Today you will have a short flight with Air Greenland to Ilulissat where you will spend three nights.
Day 4: A full day is planned in Ilulissat, with a walking tour of the community in the morning, and in the afternoon a boat tour among the icebergs.
Day 5: Today is open to explore on your own, join a guided hike or a helicopter tour to the Ilulissat Glacier.
Day 6: Today you will fly back to the village of Kangerlussuaq where you will spend two nights.
Day 7: A full day in Kangerlussuaq. In the morning, head out to spot musk ox, approximately 10,000 of these remarkable animals live in the area. Later travel by car to the ice cap to point 660, which is 660 meters above sea level walk on and watch the endless ice desert.
Day 8: Fly from Kangerlussuaq to Copenhagen with Air Greenland.
