A 15 20 minute walk from
Hotel Kulusuk lies Greenlands
most popular village, which
despite being close to an
airport, remains a settlement
of fishers and hunters. There
is a small harbour, shop,
church, workshop for sealskins
and carvings. This walking
tour gives you a glimpse of
traditional Greenlandic
lifestyles. |
This boat tour takes you
sailing past a fascinating
variety of floes and icebergs
with a close view of the small
local glacier, Apusiājik.

Travelling by jeep, we
drive up an 8 kilometres
long road. The tour takes us
to a previous military radar
station. From here we have a
view towards the majestic
coastal mountains to the
ocean seeing icefloes and
icebergs in the distance. |

A new way of travelling on
snow-covered terrain, we drive
up a mountain towards the site
of a previous military radar
post, depending on snow
conditions. If snow conditions
allow,stop at the summit, or
at the highest possible point
for photo shoot of the
spectacular white birdseye
panorama. |
Tour begins outside the hotel,
the dogsled ride is 1 hour,
with a stop for photo, and
after stop the dogsled team
takes you to the village. A
guided walking tour in
village, includes stop at
church, service house (where
the hunters wives clean their
seal skin). For returning to
hotel you are driven back by
jeep or by dogsled, depending
on the snow conditions.

Tour starts from hotel,
going to Apusiaajik glacier
(small Glacier ) stop at the
glacier for photo taking and
hot refreshments. From
Apusiajik glacier the
dogsled teams will go to an
iceberg- filled area for
another stop before return
to hotel. |
