The Disko Bay is home to icebergs, traditional and isolated communities and a glorious and unique summer light! Come up and join in as you explore this remote and diverse bay.
Day 1: Arrival into Kangerlussuaq, Greenland. Overnight in Kangerlussuaq.
Day 2: Join a guided Musk Oxen safari this morning and fly north this afternoon with Air Greenland to Ilulissat for a six-night stay.
Day 3: A full day in Ilulissat, including a walking tour of the town and a boat tour to among the icebergs.
Day 4: Today you will join a boat tour to the small settlement of Oqaatsut with 45 inhabitants, roughly 15kms north of Ilulissat.
Day 5: This morning you will head out by boat to the Eqi - Calving Glacier. You will experience the sights and sounds of calving glacier at close range.
Days 6-7: These days are open to explore on your own, join a guided hike, get that perfect photo of the bay and a helicopter tour to the Ilulissat Glacier.
Day 8: Fly home from Ilulissat via Kangerlussuaq and on to North America.
